OUTLIERS
Outliers is a documentary-short series by the BBC that captures inspirational stories from around the globe. It highlights individuals and small communities taking the initiative to enact positive change — often despite challenging or overlooked circumstances. Through these intimate films, viewers are given glimpses into how ordinary people are overcoming adversity, reshaping their lives, and uplifting those around them.
Our work
Local production featuring three distinct documentaries:
1. We produced a documentary about babies born inside Santa Martha Acatitla prison, in collaboration with the NGO Reinserta, founded by Saskia Niño de Rivera.
2. We captured the story of Mexico City’s gothic subculture through the Bonebreakers, a martial arts group where members train under their striking dark aesthetic.
3. We explored the remarkable career of Chef Eduardo García, the creative mind behind acclaimed restaurants Massimo Bistrot and Lalo!, celebrating his culinary innovation and impact.
